VibeCoden't uses a small set of cookies and browser storage entries. Most are strictly necessary to operate the Service; one is used for advertising measurement.
Strictly necessary
These cookies are always on and cannot be switched off or declined, because the Service cannot function without them — blocking them prevents sign-in, security protection and payment.
- Authentication: session tokens stored in your browser so you stay signed in.
- Security: CSRF and rate-limit tokens used to protect your account and enforce scan limits.
- Checkout: Stripe sets cookies on its own checkout pages to process your payment securely and prevent fraud.
Preferences and session storage
- Appearance: your light / dark / auto choice is stored in your browser when you are signed out, and in your account when you are signed in.
- Free Lite Scan results: when you run a Lite Scan without an account, the result is kept in your browser's session storage so the report survives a page reload. It is cleared when you close the tab.
Advertising and measurement
We use Google's advertising and analytics tag on every page to count page views, sign-ups and completed purchases so we can measure whether our advertising works. This is aggregate performance measurement, not profiling by us, but Google may set its own cookies. You can opt out using Google's ad settings, a browser tracking-protection setting, or a content blocker; the Service works normally without it.
What we don't use
We do not sell data to advertisers, we do not run third-party ad networks on the site, and we do not use cross-site tracking beyond the measurement tag described above.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies, local storage and session storage in your browser settings. Signing out also clears your session token. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or paying.
